FLT Database 2017, version 1.0 FLT Database is intended for evaluation of full-reference image visual quality assessment metrics for image denoising. FLT allows to estimate how a given metric corresponds to mean human perception. For example, in accordance with FLT Database, Spearman correlation between the metric PSNR (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio) and mean human perception (MOS, Mean Opinion Scores) is 0.05. Lukin, O. Ieremeiev, Statistical evaluation of visual quality metrics for image denoising, Submitted to ICASSP 2018. The FLT Database contains 75 reference images and 300 distorted images (25 reference images x 4 levels of image denoising). All images are saved in database in Bitmap format without any compression. File names are organized in such a manner that they indicate a number of the reference image XX and denoising level Y: "imaXX_Y.bmp". The file "mos.txt" contains the Mean Opinion Scores for each distorted image. Higer value of MOS (0 - minimal, 4 - maximal) corresponds to higer visual quality of the image.
